Bride-To-Be Honoured At Kitchen Evening
Friends of Miss Margaret Howat, gathered last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs M. Reardon, Merritt Street, and tendered her a Kitchen Evening in honour of her forthcoming marriage. She received many useful gifts. A very happy and enjoyable programme of competitions, games and musical items, passed all. too quicksly. Before a dainty supper., Mrs Rowson> president of. rthie ;,Whakaitane Basketball Club, presented Miss Howat with a useful gift on behalf of her fellow playing members, wishing her a prosperous and happy future. Miss Howat responded fittingly. ' !
