Taneatua Boxing Club Expects Best Year Yet
From the number present at the annual general meeting the Taneatua Boxing Club expects to have the most successful season since its inauguration. The club however regrets that it will be losing the services of its instructor Mr A. Reeves, whose efforts and keen interest in the sport have made the club the success it has been. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr Reeves; The following officers were elected for the ceming year: President, Mr L. Stuart; vice-president, Mr N. Semmens; secretary-treasurer, Mr W. Mair; official instructor, Mr K. Hurren; assistant instructor, Mr J. W. Goodhew; auditor, Mr Goodhew. The committee comprises Messrs. N. Semmens, J. W. Goodhew, K. Hurren, A. Torrie, G. Bennett, A. Reeves, C. Olliver, W. Mair, S. Steer, B. McGougan, L. Stuart.
