Awakeri Red Cross Annual Meeting: Officers Elected
The annual general meeting of the Awakeri Red Cross was held in the Awakeri hall recently. The president, Mrs Carter, read the report and Mrs C. L. Roberts the balance sheet. Both were adopted. In the election of officers Mrs Carter was re-elected president and Mrs Roberts as secretary. The committee are Mesdames Matchitt and Knight and Miss Howell. At the general business session arrangements were finalised for a Red Cross dance to be held in the near future.
