Mr W. Rutherford, of Whakatane, returns from his annual holiday today. Mrs I. Kelly is the guest of Mr and Mrs R. Proffitt, Senior, Nukuhou North. Sister Daphne Marryatt, of the Wellington Public Hospital, is spending her annual leave with her .brother, Mr E. R. Marryatt, at Ohope. Mrs N. Bremner of the Commercial Hotel left Whakatane on Sunday for Auckland. She is leaving New Zealand on February 11, by plane, for San Francisco. H6r two months holiday will be spent with friends there. She is expected to return to Whakatane on-April 6. Mr and Mrs “Snow” Finlayson have arrived in Whakatane to manage the Commercial Hotel in Mr N. Bremner’s absence. Mr Bremner left Whakatane on Sunday. He is spending two months holiday at Helensville and will return to Whakatane on April 6.
