Hon. Mark Fagan
The Speaker of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Mark Fagan, died at his home in Petone on Wednesday at the age of 74. He was given a State, funeral. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s of the Angels, Boulcott Street, at 10 a.m. on Saturday and the cortege left afterwards for Karori Cemetery.
