Thirty-Two Teams Start In Whakatane Bowling Club’s Handicap Pairs

Four rounds of the Whakatane Bowling Club’s handicap' pairs were completed on the Apanui greens last Saturday, and the fifth round will commence at 9 o’clock tomorrow morning. Greens were fast for last Saturday’s play and 32 teams competed. Ate the end of the day there were V two teams left with two lives and y eight with one life.

The two-lifers are: Cockerell and Henderson (s), L. H. King and A. White (s).

Teams with one life are: R. Stewart and Spong (s), F. Gerring and Burgess (s), E. J. Bell and Coates (s), Rutherford and Caisley (s), Harrison and Dixon (s), Thompson and Hellyar (s), R. Wilson and G. head (s), Campbell and Creeke (s).
