Garden Circle Meeting

The October meeting of the Garden Circle was held at the residence of Mrs Sutcliffe, Mrs Fennell presiding over a good attendance. A reading on the arrangement of flowers proved very interesting. Membei’s practised the wiring of flowers and the making of a bouquet, which was afterwards sent to Mrs Norman in the hospital. Competitions resulted: Best posy of flowers, Mrs Hannah 1, Mrs Sutcliffe 2; best rose, Mrs Larsen 1; best sweet pea, Mrs Sutcliffe 1; spring vegetable, Mrs Fennell 1.
