Some of the closing times are:— Butchers: Normal closing at 4.0 p.m. on Friday. Shops will be closed over the weekend and will reopen on Tuesday. Bakers: There will be a normal delivery of bread on Friday and no more bread until- Tuesday.

Grocers: Shops will close at 8.30 p.m. on Friday and will reopen on Tuesday.

Fruiterers: Shops will close at the normal time on Friday night and at least one will be open both Saturday and Monday. Chemists: Shops will close at the usual time on Friday night and will not reopen until Tuesday. Urgent prescriptions will, however, be obtainable over the holiday period as usual. Postal Services: There will be no mail delivery on Monday and the Post Office will reopen on Tuesday. Banks: The normal closing time for banks will be observed on Friday. They will then remain closed until Tuesday.
