NOT STANDING
DEPUTY-MAYOR’S DECISION 5 His definite intention not to stand again was voiced by the deputymayor, Mr S. S. Shapley at the Borough Council meeting on Monday. Mr Shapley said he had been treated liberally and had every assistance from the public during his 17 years in office but he felt like a rest.
