Impoundings
During the past month a total of 27 horses, 2 bulls and 8 other head of cattle were impounded from County roads. Driving and sale fees in this connection amounted to £27 2s 6d. A Thornton settler was warned against the practice of allowing his milking herd to wander unattended along the State Highway into paddocks.
