SUCCESSFUL DANCE

WHAKATANE BASKETBALL CLUB A very enjoyable dance was held in the King Street Hall on Friday night. The function was run by-the Whakatane Basketball Club and proved a great success. Mr Bill Howat was M.C. and the Premier Orchestra supplied music for the excellent programme of modern and old-time dances. A cigarette competition was won by Mr Ken Judd. Supper was served and the dance .continued until a late hour.
