DANCE AT WAIOTAHI

WAINUI TENNIS CLUB SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION A dance organised by the Wainui Tennis Club, was held in the Waiotahi Hall recently. The 8.8. C. Orchestra supplied the music and Mr B. Clements obliged with an extra. The duties of M.C. were in the capable hands of Mr Roy Sax. There were many supporters present from surrounding districts. The Novelty Monte Carlo waltzes were as popular as ever.

A box of chocolates for competition was won by Mr Les Robertson, Waimana, and the second prize went to Mr Butler, Whakatane West. A box of chocolates went to Mr John Cranswick.

A delicious supper was served by the Wainui tennis supporters and the evening concluded with the National Anthem.
