HOME GUARD COMRADESHIP
IT was quite a unique occasion at Taneatua recently when members of the war-time Home Guard gathered to mark their third Reunion in the popular form of a ‘smoko’. As far as we can learn, Taneatua is the only centre in the Bay of Plenty seeking to perpetuate the comradeship between ' \ man and man which was fostered during the war in the emergency forces raised for Home Defence. We congratulate them warmly.
