Boxing Tournament

On Saturday (tomorrow) about twenty boys from local boxing clubs will travel to Tauranga to represent Whakatane at the Bay of Plenty boxing championships. The boys will have a heavy day ahead of them as the contest will be carried as far as the semi-finals in the afternoon and the finals will be held at night. They' will be up against the best talent the Bay has to offer. For the convenience of those wishing to travel to Tauranga to see the tournament a bus will be leaving the Rock at 10 a.m.
