TANEATUA DANCE

YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB LANCERS PRACTISED A most enjoyable social and dance sponsored by the. members of the Young People’s Club was held in the Taneatua Hall recently. The function was arranged primarily for the purpose of teaching the young people to dance the Lancers which will be featured on the programme of the War Memorial Ball to be held on August 4.

Informality and fun was the keynote of the gathering and by common consent it was decided to hold another such dance on July 28. Music was provided by Mrs Martin, Mrs Gardner and Mr G. Grey. Mr Gardner was M.C.

A Monte Carlo was won by Miss B. O’Brien and Mr K. Hurran.
