The attention of readers is drawn to the Poultry and Cage Bird Club’s show, to be held in the Winter Show Buildings on Thursday and Friday, details of which are advertised in another column. . ■ By contrast, the first New Zealand order in 1852 was for 12,000 penny stamps, 66,000 twopenny stamps, apd 8000 shilling stamps.
