WHAKATANE R.S.A.
EXECUTIVE MEETING KUATOKI SUB-BRANCH The executive of the Whakatane R.S.A. met in the Borough Council Chambers on Friday. The president, Mr L. H. Brown presided, and others present were: L. M. Roach (secretary), Messrs. D. S. Wilson, W. Coates, A. Hall, C. Head, G. Canned, J. Bryant, A. J. Atkinson, T. H. Morgan, C. R. Wilson, G. Otley, N. Patterson, G. Santon, L. W. Luxton, J. Stewart and Rev. Rangi. Apologies were received from Messrs. T. Macken and J. H. Armstrong. Hospital Visiting Committee
Committees to visit the Whakatane hospital regularly each month were appointed. The July committee consists of Messrs-. G. Logan and J. Hyland. Conference Reports
Mr Brown, delegate to the conference at Hamilton and Messrs. Brown and C. R. Wilson, delegates to the N.Z.R.S.A. conference at Wellington gave detailed reports.
A hearty vote of thanks to the delegates was carried.
Ruatoki Sub-Branch
Rev. Rangi was appointed to arrange a suitable date for representatives of the executive from Ruatoki who were desirous of forming a sub-branch of the Whakatane Association to meet.
Rev. Rangi was assured that every assistance would be given to Ruatoki members.
