LAND VALUES ON RANGITAIKI

WITH the finding of the Land Sales Court in the test case Holds worth Estate v. The Crown, an overall value of just under £SO per acre has been fixed for first class land in the central Rangitaiki. This figure is interesting in that it must give some official basis of value for the fixing of future sales, while the Land Sales Court continues to operate. Landowners considering the possible sale of their properties have now something to work on.
