BENEFITING ST. JOHN’S As a result of the Gala Day in aid of St. John Ambulance funds which was held last Saturday approximate - ly £167 was raised. Cannell, Te Teko) per Fire Brigade, £lO ss; Maori Entertainers, £6 Is 3d; Collections, £6 16s lid; Sheep and Pig Guessing, £3 8s 6d; Half Proceeds Water Melons (donated by Mr Norman Carter), £6 9s 6d; Refreshments (not complete), £27 16s 8d; Dance (less orchestra), £l9 16s 6d; a total of £157 15s 10d.
