Review of Form Filling
A detailed audit of all form-filling as required by Government Departments with a view to eliminating as much as possible for the sake of national and business economy, is urged by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce in its recently-issued annual report. A considerable amount of time was given in any office to the preparation of Government returns of one sort or another, says the report. Some of the information so collected was of obvious value, which fact did not, however, make its preparation less irksome. An elimination of many of these forms would considerably help economy both national and in business enterprise.
