RANGITAIKI SUB-UNION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Delegates and supporters from all clubs and the Referees’ Association were present at the annual general meeting of the Rangitaiki Rugby Sub-Union, held in Free’s tearooms Edgecumbe, on April 11. The president, Mr F. J. Burt, gave a detailed report of the past season’s activities. Balance Sheet The balance sheet disclosed a credit balance of £32. Election of Officers The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Patron, Mr J. Pattie; president, Mr F.' J. Burt; deputy chairman, Mr A. Robins; vice-presidents, all club presidents and Messrs. C. Eivers, A. Jamieson, F. Linsell, J. Parkinson, P. Cobden, W. McCracken, G. Mexted and Harrison-Smith; honorary vice-presidents, Mesdames L. Dunderdale and H. L. Anderson; Executive committee, Mr F. J. Burt, secretary, Messrs. A. Robins and- W. Parkes; delegates to the Bay Union, Messrs. E. Naumann and C. E. Thompson, Mr H. L. Anderson as deputy delegate; auditor, Mr E. Rogers. The election of a secretary and selectors was held over until the next meeting of delegates.
General
Six senior grade, five junior and one third grade teams were nominated and it was decided to open the senior and junior competition on April 26. Age and weight limits for juniors were fixed at the same standard as those for the Shalfoon Shield.
