There was a large display of beautifully arranged flowers and there were good entries in the decorated bowl competitions. The prize winners were as follows: Best bowl under 6 inches: Mrs L. Carter 1; Mrs Wilson 2; Mrs N. Carter 3. Best bowl • over 6 inches: Mrs L. Carter 1; Mrs Roberts 2. Best flower: Mrs Roberts 1; Mrs Jensen 2; Mrs Matchitt 3. Best fruit: Mrs Matchitt 1; Mrs Roberts 2; Mrs Rust 3.. Best vegetable: Mrs Wilson 1; Mrs Jensen 2; Mrs Barr 3. Best collection of vegetables: Mrs Hoyland 1; Mrs Rust 2. A Bring and Buy stall was well patronised and a dainty supper concluded a pleasant evening.
