“CORN IS GREEN” Saturday 12th, Monday 14th. Warner Bros.’ stirring film tribute to men and women of goodwill the world over, “The Corn Is Green,” wil open on Saturday at the Regent Theatre. Adapted for the screen by Casey Robinson and Frank Cavett from the Herman Shumlin production of Emlyn Williams’ successful Broadway drama, the film introduces two screen newcomers, John Dali and Joan Lorring, and was directed by Irving Rapper. Also featured in the supporting cast are Nigel Bruce, Rhys Williams, Rosalind Ivan.
