Collapse of Auctioneer

When a well-known local auctioneer was about to commence the auction of fruit and produce at last Saturday’s St. John Paddy’s Market he had barely got into his stride, when an infant on a tricycle decided to go through the tunnel formed by his parted lower limbs. The result was drastic, for it collapsed the auctioneer who sprawled in an undignified manner across the sawdust covered floor and sent the ‘nipper’ skidding to the wall, there to rail lustily at fate regarding a few sundry bruises.
