DRUIDS BALL
TONIGHT’S BIG EVENT The first annual Ball to be staged by the Whakatane Druids Lodge will take place this evening in the Winter Show Hall. The Ball is a genuine attempt to. reintroduce the old-time social events which have not been possible over the war years and which have always been regarded as the highlights of the social calendar in any town. Special arrangements have been made for novelty events and the programme of selected modern and old-timers will commence with the Grand March. Arrangements for supper are par-excellence and everything points to an evening of an outstanding and memorable nature.
