INDOOR BASKETBALL
WHAKATANE CLUB v ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The annual general meeting of the Whakatane Indoor Basketball Association was held in the County Council Chambers on March 19, at 7.30 p.m. The election of/officers for the forthcoming year proceeded as under:— President: Mr P. Dixon. „ Vice-President: Mr P. Bridger. Hon. Vice-Presidents: C. S. Armstrong, R. Morpeth, J. Dfßivett, Mrs Bremner, T. Jordan, B. Henderson, L. King, H. McGougan, Mr Tyssen. Secretary and Treasurer: M. Farrell.
Assistant Secretary: M. Hall. Committee: M. Stokes, B. McGougan, T. Aden, M. Duley. Referees: M. Duley, R. Duley, M. Hall. Coach: B. McGoqgan.
The opening night was fixed for 9th April the subscription for the season being: Men 10/6, ladies 7/6. A cordial invitation is extended to all those interested to attend the opening night.
