EASTER TRAIN SERVICES
DAILY EXPRESES ON TANEATUA LINE Many additional trains are proposed in the Auckland district and between Auckland and Wellington during the Easter period to meet the anticiapted heavy holiday traffic. Tentative’ arrangements for these and other augmented services were announced recently by the Minister of Railways, Mr Semple. Three trains will be run' each way between Wellington and Auckland :• on Wednesday, April 2nd, six. on Thursday and two oh Good Friday. For returning holiday travellers,' foui- trains from Auckland and three . from-Wellington will run on Easter ' Monday: On Tuesday three trains will run 'f«em Auckland and four jfrom Wellington. The additionaltrain from Wellington will make a connection with the daylight* trip of the ferry steamer from Lyttelton. On Wednesday three trains will run each way between Wellington and Auckland. In the Auckland-Rotorua and Auckland-Taneatua areas, the expresses will run daily from Wednesday, April 2, to Wednesday, April 9 inclusive.
