JUDGING ON THE HOOKS’ Y.F.C. COMPETITION The results of the judging on the ‘hooks’ at Horotiu of the porkers entered in the special class for membersc of the Young Farmers’ Club in the recent A. and P. Show have now come to hand. They are as under:— Ist, No. 35: A. C. White, Waimana, lOllbs. 2nd, No. 32: R. Arrol, Edgecumbe, 1041bs. 3rd, No. 34: L. Broadmore, Thornton, 961bs. The field day for this compettiion will be held on Saturday, March 22 at Horotiu and Lord Bledisloe is expected to be there. As the Waikato Porker Competition is being held in conjunction with the Bay of Plenty contest those who attend the field day will have the opportunity of comparing poryers from other districts.
