NEW ARMY WALKING-OUT DRESS
A picked squad of soldiers acting as “Army models” for the blue walk-ing-out dress, marched into the arena at the British Legion Festival of Remembrance at Albert Hall. This was the- first time the proposed new dress had been seen in public. This is what those present said: Ex-R.S.M. of the Guards: Could do with a bit of livening up. Ex-Officer: Nothing to really attract young men to the Army. ExServicemen: Jolly good. Not much to keep clean.
