OKORERO DEFEATS TUHOE Tribal feelings ran high on Saturday, 26th instant, when tennis racquets- were substituted for "meres" in a meeting between Okorero Club or Thornton, and Tuhoe Club of Ruatoki. Although Tuhoe was decisively deeated by the visitors, the scores being 4 sets to 20, the standard of play throughout the day was very high. At the conclusion of play, the two teams were complimented on their sportsmanship by the local elders and a motion was passed whereby a return engagement with Okorero was hoped for in the near future.
