40 Fish on One Hook
To land 40 fish on the one hook was the unique experience of Mr €. Cross, of Napier, when fishing for schnapper from the Tangoio beach during the weekend. Mr Cross landed a seven-foot female shark, which was carrying 39 young. The young sharks were all alive and were still struggling to regain the water an hour after their parent was caught.
