NEW YEAR BOWLING
TOURNAMENT AT TANEATUA
On New Year’s Day the Taneatua Bowling Club held a very enjoyable club tournament. The weather was ideal and very good bowling was the order of the day. Twenty-four bowlers took part there being several visitors. The winners were G. Peebles (skip), with 5 games out of five and IT. Tocker (lead) with 41 games out of five. Tennis
The members of the Taneatua Tennis Club held a Yankee Tournament on their lawns on Thursday, there being a good gathering of members and also some visitors. The winners of the tournament were Mrs Todman and Mrs Fogerty.
