CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR U f : On Wednesday, the 25th December and Ist January Christmas and New Year’s Day, and Thursday, the 26th December, Boxing Day, and 2nd January, this office will observe a close holiday except as otherwise stated hereunder:— Postal Branch: On Thursday, the 26th December and 2nd January outward mails closing at 7 a.m. will be despatched principal offices. Street receivers will be cleared at 6 a.m. » Telegraph Office: Closed. Telegrams of an urgent nature may be presented at the Telephone Exchange Branch. t Telephone Exchange: Continuous attendance. Postmen’s Delivery, Rural Delivery: Deliveries will be suspended.
