Representative Cricket
Arrangements have been made b> the Bay of Plenty Cricket Association for a Colts team, selected from the Bay' of Plenty to play another Bay of Plenty team at Tauranga on December '2l and 22. Players will picked from Whakatane, Opotiki, Rotorua, Te Puke, Pongakawa and_ Tauranga. A trial game, Possibles v Probables is also on, the cards for a Bay representative team to meet Auckland at Rotorua on January 8 th. ' Hospital Statistics The following Hospital figures for the month of November were submitted by the, Medical Superinten,dent (Dr. E. T. Dawson) at the meeting of the Board yesterday:— In hospital at November Ist, 103 (49 male, 54 female,); admissions 131 (39, 92); discharges 134 (43, 91); deaths 5 (4, 1,); remaining in November 30th, 95 (41, 54); births’39 (19, 20). Operations, mafjor 7 and minor 47. The daily average occupied bed was 93.63.
