BRASS BAND CONTESTS
HEAVY NOMINATIONS The Whakatane Citizens’ Band will be faced with stiff competition at the South Auckland Brass Band contests, which are to take place at Te Aroha at Easter. It is expected that 460 bandsmen will take part, / ! the'nominations constituting a re-, cord for the contest. Mr F. W. G. McLeod, of New Plymouth, will act as adjudicator.
