JUST THOUGHTS

It is related of Marshall Stalin that a guest put the question to him, who did he think was the greatest man the world has ever known? In reply he took his guest before a curtain which he drew aside revealing a picture of Jesus and said Jesus was the greatest man the world has ever known. Christians think so too, but they believe that Jesus was Christ and God incarnate in man and he taught as one having authority from God so that men might know a new way of life in His day, making the best offer man ever had to any man and every man who would accept his message and believe as he besought them. The Salvation and Redemption of this world depends on the individual attitude of all men toward Christ and what he taught. Accept Him and you must be upright, fair and honest in all the walks of life. Social Security is not a question of money but of integrity of character practised by everybody in the community in which one dwells. It is righteousness only that exalts men and nations and brings about the Blessing God on people both -individually and nationally. Let’s try it ourselves and what the result will be. It is not yet too late to mend our ways but it may be any day who can say any reform that fails to Jake righteousness into account is not a reform but a step backward.
