WHAKATANE MEN’S CLUB —ParfHerTounds of the Club Championships were played on Saturday and the results are as follows: Seniors: Carter beat Connell; Pattison beat Spence; Syme beat Milne; Cradwick beat A. P. Smith. Intermediates: Alexander beat Harvey; Barry beat Denham; Wylds beat Suckling; Bridger beat Littlejohn. Juniors: White beat R. J. Smith; D. Hay beat Corbett; Bushett beat Stone; Sloane beat Turnbull. The semi finalists for next Saturday are:— Pattison v Steel; Syme v Cradwick. Intermediates: Alexander v Barry; Wylds v Bridger. Juniors: White v D. Hay; Bushett v Sloane. The second rounds in the Consolations are also to be played on Saturday and members who have not yet played their first rounds are asked to arrange to play them during the week is possible. The will be a stableford bogey competition for those not in any of the match play counts. TE TEKO LADIES’ CLUB The Te Teko Ladies’ Golf Club will this week play a Medal round for the President’s and Captain’s points prizes. Following is the draw: Mrs Thomas and Mrs Goodwin; Mrs Burr and Mrs Mcßride; Mrs A. P. Smith and Miss Murray; Mrs Hutton and Mrs Caldwell; Mrs Balfour and Miss Linsell; Mrs Moulden and Mrs Cannell; Mrs Linsell and Miss Knight. Sunday: Mrs Anderson and Mrs Burr; Miss Walker and Miss Linsell. The Stableford Bogey competition arranged for last weekend had to be abandoned owing to rain.
