Outing for Hospital Children
An outing which gave incalculable pleasure to those taking part occurred last>We’dnesday when convalescent children who were patients at the Whakatcjne. Hospital .were taken to the afternoo'h matinee screening of “Snow. White and ' the _ Seven Dwarfs.” Over a : doz?m'children made the trip, the plaster cases being accommodated in the motor ambulance and escorted by members of the St. John organisation. After the programme the children were the guests-at the Monte Carlo Milk Bar. It is understood that the outing was completely financed from the sale of soft drink bottles brought.to the institution by visitors from time, to time.
