WEDDING BELLS
* SIS AM—OGDEN The marriage was celebrated on Saturday, August 17, at Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, of Noeline Patricia, only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr H. L. Ogden, of Devonport and formally of Pukekohe, to Liept. Walter John Sisam M.C., elder son of Mrs and the late Mr W. H. Sisam, of Taneatua. Canon R. J. Stanton officiated, while during the service Mrs M. Frater rendered a solo “Thanks Be To God.” The bride who was given away by her Uncle, Mr J. R. Miller, wore a picture frock of white, organdie over taffeta, with a circular yoke, pointed waistband and front panels appliqued with a dainty trail of satin flowers while the full skirt, falling to a slight train, was outlined with self ruching. Her silk net veil was held in place by a spray of white hyacinths and cyclamen and she carried a shower bouquet .of white hyacinths, cyclamen and snowdrops. - The bridesmaids, Miss Isabel Sisam, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Bonnie Ogden, cousin of the bride, were dressed alike in frocks of azure blue organdie over taffeta, made on similar lines to that of the bride and trimmed with pin tucks and self ruching. They carried sheafs of red anemones, cyclamen and gerberas, with head-dresses to match.
Mr A. L. Sisam, brother of the bridegroom, and Mr K. Sisam, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man and groomsman, respectively.
The reception wasjield at the Cheltenham Kiosk, Devonport.
