BAY v WAIKATO The first match by the Bay of Plenty senior representative team, now on tour, was. played at Hamilton on Saturday against a Waikato fifteen. The match resulted in a win for Waikato by 9 points to 8. Bay did not score in the first half. In the second half McLaughlin scored a good try and then Delamere broke through and transferred to his support and another good try resulted. Burke converted one of the tries. . Opotiki players figured prominently in the match and McLaughlin was the pick of the forwards. Delamere and D. Moore stood out prominently in the few backs and were commented on for good play. T.
