WHAKATANE LADIES’ CLUB On Wednesday and Saturday of this week the August Medal round will be played. The draw will be:— Mrs Berg and Miss Black; Mrs Dawson and Mrs Otley; Mrs Dewar and Mrs Symmans; Mrs Sloane and Mrs Combes; Mrs Winstone and Mrs Fogerty; Mrs Spence and Mrs Wilson; Mrs Rangi and Miss Robins; Mrs Breckon and Miss Righton; Mrs Fraser and Mrs Connell; Mrs Grey and Miss Hyland; Mrs Suckling and Miss Reynolds; Mrs Semmens and Mrs McCowan; Mrs Donaldson and Miss Otley; Miss Hooper and Mrs Fennell; Mrs Ker and Miss Armstrong.
The draw for Saturday will be:— Mrs Pearse and Miss Nankivell; Mrs Combes and Miss Carter; Mrs Jarrett and Mrs Connell; Mrs Burke and Mrs Stone; Miss Campbell and Miss Gartshore; Miss Wilson and Miss Warren; Miss Suckling and Miss Hancock; Mrs Hay and Miss Hobson; Miss Le Lievre and Miss McLeod. As wet weather has interfered with the Allan Trophy matches the committee would be pleased if those still competing would arrange to play .off their matches as soon as possible. ): • Players are asked to note that the three qualifying rounds for championships have been brought forward one week, the first which will be played on 14th and 17th of August.
