ROVER SCOUTS

DOMINION COMMISSIONER’S VISIT POSSIBILITIES OF LOCAL CREW The Dominion Commissioner for Rovers (Senior Scouts) Mr A. Campbell Clarke (‘Nuska’) will be visiting Whakatane over the weekr end when he will address all who may be interested in the formation of a Rover Crew in this town. ‘Nuska’ who will be remembered by many of the local Scouts who took part in the County Camp at Lake Rotoma last January is a powerful and interesting speaker and will introduce something which up to the present has been unknown in Whakatane. Rovering is described as the necessary occupation for senior Scouts and young men—in fact it is never too old to' be a Rover. All interested are invited to attend a meeting at Scout Commissioner Mathews residence, Victoria Avenue, at 7.30 p.m. on Satui'day evening.
