FINE OF 40/- IMPOSED For shooting grey duck without the necessary license, James Dodunski was fined 40/- and costs (24/-) in the Whakatane Magistrate’s. Court yesterday. Mr E. L. Walton was on the bench. A letter from the defendant pleaded guilty, and Mr R. Dickenson for the Conservator of Fish and Game, conducted the prosecution. Evidence by Ranger K. E. Francis showed that defendant was seen to fire at the duck and later on admitted the offence verbally.
