CLOTHES DRIVE

IN AID OF C.0.R.5.0. Residents are reminded once again of the ‘clothes drive’ organised by the local branch of C.0.R.5.0. and which takes place tomorrow morning. All unwanted clothing of reasonably decent type will be welcomed, and householders are asked to co-operate by having their parcels in readiness for the collectors who will visit all homes within the Borough before 12 o’clock. Parcels or bundles of clothing left at the gate and addressed C.0.R.5.0. will be collected without further enquiry. Scouts and Boys Brigade members assisting are reminded that the Red Cross building, Commerce Street, will be the rallying point during the day and that they should muster there at 9 a.m.
