PERSONAL

At last night’s meeting of the Borough Council, His Worship the Mayor (Mr B. S. Barry) extended A warm welcome to Inspector Sharp, who has recently been appointed to replace Traffic Inspector Doggett.

As a gesture to Mr D. V. Saunders who recently resigned from the position of Town Clerk, after fourteen years service, the Borough Council decided at its last meeting to grant him a month’s leave with full pay and further a testimonial under seal of the council.
