ROWERS ENTERTAIN

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DANCE Despite numerous other attractions, the dance held by the Whakatane Rowing Club at the Caledonian Hall on Saturday evening was well supported by town and country dancers. The evening marked the conclusion of the rowing season for the present year. The Premier Dance Band supplied the musk, and Messrs. Arthur Head and Stan Dent acted as M.C.s. Novelty dances as usual were well to the fore, and were enthusiastically entered for. A tasty supper was served, and dancing concluded at midnight.
