PLUNKET SOCIETY

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Whakatane Branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket rooms. Present were Mesdames Cairns (chair), Kingsley-Smith, Knights, Morgan, Jessop and Caisley (secretary). Apologies were received from Mesdames Patterson, Shapley, Morpeth, Spring and Dainton. The Nurse’s report for March and April was received and the ' usual accounts were passed for payment. A cheque for £2 2s was received from the County Council, and a vote of thanks to that body, was passed. The next meeting is to be held on Monday, June 10 at 2.30 p.m.
