ROTORUA TEAM DEFEATED The best team to so far challenge Whakatane for the Snooker Cup came from Rotorua to play at Mr J. Hanwright’s billiard saloon on Tuesday evening. A win for Whakatane was by an exceedingly narrow margin—lo points on the' last game. Results of individual games played were as under, Rotorua names being mentioned first in each instance:— Gome 24 lost to Hona 54; Reid 35 lost to McGarvey 52; Corbett 70 beat Morgan 26; Paul 70 beat Thompson 34; Dhont 28 lost to Davis 69; Tau 66 beat Keepa 16; Harker 54 lost to Keesing 64.
