Unusual Visitor
An unusual visitor to Ohope during the weekend was a sea snake, which, in an injured condition, was washed up alive on the beach, where it was discovered by Mr Errol Lees. The reptile was three feet long and an inch in diameter.. Its underside was yellow whilst its back presented a dai'k appearance. Its mouth was filled with teeth of razor-like sharpness.
