AUTUMN CATTLE FAIR The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., report having held their Autumn Station Cat?, tie Fair at Whakatane on April 15. The offering was over the advertised number, 1526 being yarded, a total clearance was effected, and very satisfactory prices realised. There was a strong representative attendance of buyers from outside, districts, and competition was keen. I All cattle yarded were in first class condition, and prices were well' up' to those prevailing in other districts. The following is a list of prices:. Fat bullocks, £ll to £l4 2s 6d; fat cows, £8 to £l2 8s; store bullocks, £lO to £l3; 2a-year heifers, £6 to £10; in-calf cows, £4 10s to £6 10s; 18 month steers, £6 to £lO Is; 18 month heifers, £4 to £5 10s; weaner calves, to £4 10s. ,1 '
