The offering was over the advertised number, 1526 being yarded, a total clearance was effected, and very satisfactory prices realised. There was a strong representative attendance of buyers from outside, districts, and competition was keen. I All cattle yarded were in first class condition, and prices were well' up' to those prevailing in other districts. The following is a list of prices:. Fat bullocks, £ll to £l4 2s 6d; fat cows, £8 to £l2 8s; store bullocks, £lO to £l3; 2a-year heifers, £6 to £10; in-calf cows, £4 10s to £6 10s; 18 month steers, £6 to £lO Is; 18 month heifers, £4 to £5 10s; weaner calves, to £4 10s. ,1 '
